‘Korea-Germany Connection 2013’
Exchange of Theater Professionals between Korea and Germany
The Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) and the Goethe Institut co-organize the ‘Korea-Germany Connection 2013’, aiming to encourage and promote the theater exchange and collaboration between Korea and Germany.
KAMS Connection is an initiative to support performing arts professionals from the research stage through to the project development stage with the aim of developing international collaborative projects, based on reciprocal cooperation with international partners. Since 2010, the KAMS has organized the KAMS Connection programs with the international partners including the Visiting Arts (UK), Dance Info Finland (Finland), National Performance Network (USA), Australia Council for the Arts (Australia), British Council (UK), Goethe Institut (Germany) and Institut Français (France).
For the ‘Korea-Germany Connection 2013’, the KAMS and Goethe Institut have invited a theater organization each as the local partner; National Theater Company of Korea and Deutsches Theater Berlin. The two (2) partnering organizations will support the operation of the program.
The ten (10) participants in total (5 Koreans, 5 Germans) have been selected;
