영국 런던 킹스칼리지의 문화, 미디어, 창조산업학과 교수이다. 주요 연구 분야는 문화정책, 문화산업정책, 문화지원, 예술위원회, 문화노동, 문화소비와 팬덤 등에 대해 연구하고 있다.
